Description

The Great Big Bulb Dig allows Floriade visitors to take home a piece of the festival! During this event, attendees can dig up and collect bulbs from Floriade’s garden beds, including tulips and other spring blooms. The bulbs collected are ones that were part of the vibrant displays throughout the festival and would otherwise be removed at the end of the season.

Tickets and Bags

• VIP Bags ($30): Allows early entry at 10:00 am and comes with a larger, special bag.
• Standard Bags ($15): General entry at 11:00 am with a regular-sized bag.

Both bag types can be purchased at the Floriade Information Tent or designated areas within Commonwealth Park during the festival. Proceeds from bag sales typically go to local charities, supporting causes like the Indigenous Marathon Foundation and Roundabout Canberra.

What to Bring

• Gardening gloves and small tools (e.g., a hand trowel) for digging are recommended.
